Salsa "Rueda"
Salsa "Rueda", also known as "Casino Salsa", is a formation dance, done in a circle. It is similar to square dancing, in that each move has a name, and there is a caller who calls out the moves by name, and all of the couples do the move at the same time. All of the names are in Spanish, and many of them have hand signals. These patterns are also done in regular Salsa, but in a "Rueda", they are precise and simultaneously executed by everyone in the circle, including the caller. It involves alot of changing partners, and intricate dance positions. Many couples like to do this dance for performance.There are over 100 patterns in "Rueda", and lots of fun for all.
